Rosé and Bruno Mars Have A Cheek Kiss As They Celebrate Global Sensation Award At MAMA Japan
On November 22, MAMA Japan took place at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, as part of the three-day 2024 MAMA Awards celebration, which kicked off in Los Angeles on November 21. Actress Lee Ji Ah presented the Global Sensation award, calling Rosé and Bruno Mars to the stage for their achievements, including the viral success of their collaboration on “APT.”
Rosé, who stepped up to accept the award, expressed her gratitude:
“I started writing the song inspired by one of my favorite drinking games. I never imagined it would receive so much love. Thank you to everyone for embracing it, and to Bruno, thank you for everything.”
Bruno Mars followed with a simple yet heartfelt “Thank you” in Korean, charming the audience.
During her speech, Rosé shared, “There’s something I’ve been wanting to do with Bruno,” before adding playfully, “Until now, it’s been Bruno and Rosé. Thank you so much.” The two sealed their moment with an affectionate cheek kiss, drawing cheers from the crowd.
The star-studded evening featured performances and appearances by BoyNextDoor, ENHYPEN, aespa, IVE, TXT, TREASURE, ZeroBaseOne, and more. Notable personalities such as Jo Yu Ri, Lee Young Ji, and actors Ahn Jae Hyun, Kwak Dong Yeon, and Seo In Guk also graced the lineup.
